CINTAP’s UI Revamp: What’s New for You

Change has been brewing at CINTAP…

Things may look calm above the surface, but below decks, CINTAP’s development and design teams have been hard at work. For the past several months, we’ve coordinated and prepared for a total refresh of CINTAP Cloud’s app…

And now it’s finally ready to be released!

Effective immediately, when CINTAP Cloud users access the platform, they’ll see comprehensive changes starting at the login page and continuing right through the entire application.

Our teams have put in a lot of hard work on this revamp, and we’re excited to showcase their efforts and make a smooth transition for our current users- so let’s talk about it.

Capabilities and benefits of the classic CINTAP Cloud:

The CINTAP Cloud app has been live for nearly two years- and in that time, it has saved users millions of dollars, thousands of hours, and countless headaches

We’ve gradually added new features to the platform, improving our partners’ favorite features of the classic CINTAP Cloud:

  • The applications dashboard
  • A2A and B2B integration
  • Business Process Integration
  • OTC Module
  • Transportation Module
  • EDI Transaction Trail

Using widgets, users could customize their dashboards to display transactions, tools, and applications pertinent to their integration operation. The interactive charts and BI reports gave users quick insights into any issues, completed transactions, and more.

A wide range of tools have been available on CINTAP Cloud for both A2A and B2B integration. These included inventory and warehouse management, data management, P2P/OTC/3PL, and more. When clients requested services beyond the capabilities offered, CINTAP developed and added tools to the platform over time.

From the beginning, CINTAP Cloud has performed routine admin, troubleshooting, and other BPI efforts. The platform has always tracked transactions in real time while displaying interactive reports for success and failure rates. Users saw notifications instantly, and worked toward faster resolutions for any discrepancies.

As users clamored for more advanced capabilities, the OTC Module continued to evolve and upgrade. Eventually, manual order processing, inventory tracking, and intricate EDI transactions all became fully automated. And when more complex order-to-cash transactions plagued CINTAP partners, more tools were built into the module.

First, CINTAP Cloud’s OTC Dashboard provided an end-to-end view of all transactions. Users could easily track orders, monitor inventory levels, and view the status of EDI communications.

Also, the E-Notification System automatically sent customized emails to designated recipients after each transaction. PDF attachments with order summaries and direct links to detailed transaction histories were easy to share with both colleagues and customers.

Another example is CINTAP’s unique EDI Splitter, which scanned incoming EDI files to identify multiple transactions within a single document, and effectively split them into individual segments. Users accessed these segments as PDF files or historical logs (or both).

Another popular feature of the classic CINTAP Cloud platform was the Transportation Module, with its own array of industry-specific tools.

Each time a transaction was made, CINTAP automatically recorded everything in detailed History Reports. Integration partners quickly searched through inbound and outbound logs, interactive report charts and graphs, and B.I. insights.

Additionally, the Compare Feature worked in tandem with the rest of the Transportation Module. If an order and invoice weren’t a match (within tolerance parameters set by users), the Compare Feature put the transactions side-by-side for quick comparisons and/or automated rejections.

And finally, one of the most popular (and innovative) tools on the CINTAP Cloud platform is the Transaction Trail. It followed the progression of EDI transactions from order to invoice and protected our integration partners from expensive errors such as paying out invoices without orders. Once flagged by CINTAP, these EDI Transactions were moved into a separate folder (Bucket) for manual rejection or acceptance.

What to expect from the new CINTAP Cloud:

But CINTAP has been growing and our clients’ needs are evolving, so we

expanded our in-app products and offers,

built new modules with enhanced capabilities,

developed brand new tools at clients’ requests,

and now it’s finally time for a new look and a smoother user experience.

As soon as users go to access their CINTAP Cloud account, they’ll notice a sleeker look with a new entry point, including a single sign-on login and multi-factor authentication for added security.

Once CINTAP partners have successfully signed in to their account, they’re prompted to first provide their company EDI information and then add any trade partners for onboarding to the platform.

A stand-out benefit to partnering with CINTAP for iPaaS and integration is rapid onboarding, and this reminder to add partners after login only facilitates that effort.

While the functionality of the home dashboard remains the same (including the ability to customize the dash with widgets), there is more clarity and simplicity for users. Most importantly, these improvements give users a clearer and more comprehensive view of all integration and transaction activities.

This dashboard is also the jumping off point for the App Drawer (with all the tools needed to adjust A2A and B2B integrations) and the Partner Page (which displays details on all trade partners currently onboarded).

A brand-new feature to CINTAP Cloud is the Marketplace. Here, users explore recently added applications, tools, modules, and more.

Currently available in Marketplace, for example, are the AIR Apps: a suite of software applications developed by the AdroitCo Innovation and Research Group.

All of CINTAP Cloud’s modules are easily accessible from the dashboard- OTC, Transportation, P2P, and more!

Although there aren’t any drastic changes to function, a cohesive look and smoother transitions between modules (and ease-of-use within them) further elevate the UI experience.

The Transaction Trail has also undergone a refreshing overhaul with an emphasis on transparency. A more intuitive design allows users to either step back and see the big picture or crawl through even the smallest details within EDI communications.
